In just a short time since beginning this journey I have witnessed beauty, love and genuine happiness. This little girl is a little bit of both. I was lucky enough to see her for her first and second birthdays!

august raby: Welcome! What you see before you has been a lifetime in the making. I have loved pictures as far back as I can remember. In my opinion, without pictures, life has yet to be fully lived. As a little girl, while others received Barbie and her accessories, I received photo albums with vital life events labeled with the date from my grandparents. In high school, I borrowed my uncle’s camera to capture every special moment in my life. In college, I helped to orient engagement pictures yet it never struck me that photography could possibly be my calling in life. I ventured into the professional world of special education and as life continued to become very busy and a little too hectic I returned to my first love to grasp some peace and serenity. I utilized taking pictures as an outlet for my creativity. When I got married we purchased a DSLR camera and my love affair with the camera escalated. In 2010, when I became a mommy to a precious baby boy, I began taking pictures of him and realized photography was much more than a hobby. I attended some workshops and decided after my second little prince that it was time I took this passion that I have to the next level.
